Day 7 Upper Tampa Trail
Posted by Shaun McNicholas in Bicycling, Fitness on August 15, 2009
Day 7…
I didn’t go out yesterday becuase I had an interview in the morning and I really regretted it! I was really straining this morning trying to keep pace.
We only did the main part of the trail today so it was only about 20 miles, but we got it done in and hour 37 minutes.

Biking Upper Tampa Trail Day 5
Posted by Shaun McNicholas in Bicycling, Fitness on August 13, 2009
This is the fifth day biking the Upper Tampa trail. On our first day it took about 2.5 hours to do the full trail from the house in Carrollwood Village to the end of the Upper Tampa Trail at Memorial Highway. Now after only 5 days of riding we’ve reduced our time to 2 hours making our average speed around 12 Mph. We’re going to try to get our average speed somewhere around 15 Mph by the end of next week then we’ll see if we can find a path up to the Suncoast Trail. They still have to pave the 4 miles or so between the two trails. The Suncoast trail runs all the way from Lutz Lake Fern Road to the northern end of Suncoast Parkway aproximately 40 miles. So from the house in Carrollwood to the northern end of the Suncoast trail is approximately 50 miles. We’d like to be able to do the entire trail round trip 100 miles by the time it starts getting cold this year.

Activities for and from family and friends
Posted by Shaun McNicholas in La' Shaun Jenae' Paschal McNicholas on August 8, 2009
I am going to use this little section to let everyone know what is happening with my family and friends. I always wanted a way to promote people when I believe in what they do and I figure as more people get to know me and what I do with my time they’ll also have an opportunity to hear about my family and friends and the interesting things they do in their lives. For example: My beautiful wife: She is an amazingly talented singer, mother and friend and is always looking for way to improve herself, her talents, her children, ME (I’m probably the most frustrating), and the lives of those around her. I put a website together to promote her singing career a few weeks ago but I don’t think many people know it exists yet. I’ll be working on changing that over the next few weeks. Check it out at http://www.psmdesign.com/lashaun/
Let me know what you think – what you think I should change – what you think we should add – etc…
New url’s and sites
Posted by Shaun McNicholas in Web Development on August 7, 2009
Ok so today I setup my new urls and started building out several new communications tools for PSM Design, Inc. I’ll keep everyone updated through this blog when I complete each piece of the buildout and let you know the technologies and tools I am utilizing for each piece as well as things like difficulty, costs, time spent to complete etc… That way if you want to do these things for yourself you can either follow my blog or send me an email for help.
As always – with everything I do – I want (WANT) constructive (Useful) criticism.
